Visiting from Singapore to Brindisi

Brindisi tower at sunset

Brindisi is a port city in the region of Apulia in southern Italy, the capital of the province of Brindisi, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. The town has a slow pace and best enjoyed by a walk along the palm-lined Corso Garibaldi and seafront. Highlights of the city include the Tempio di San Giovanni al Sepolcro (a fascinating 12th-century Norman church) and Brindisi's provincial archaeological museum with many Hellenistic Greek bronze sculptures. Spend the evening at one of the many restaurants and enjoy fresh seafood, regional wines, figs and artichoke dishes. It's a destination for sunseekers with plenty of stunning beaches to enjoy in the Puglia region.

When to visit

Brindisi experiences a Mediterranean climate with dry hot summers and plenty of sunshine. The best time to visit Brindisi is in spring (April through to June) when the weather is not too hot, making it the perfect time to see the major sights including the Monumento al Marinaio d'Italia and Castello Alfonsino di castle. The average temperature during spring is between 15°C to 23°C. September is also a lovely time to visit with many festivals and an average temperature of around 26°C. Summer (July and August) are hot reaching 30°C and is the perfect time to visit to enjoy the magical beaches of Italy, along the Adriatic sea.
