Fees for Consultant Assisted Bookings


The following fees apply to bookings and (where permitted) changes made through Qantas Telephone Sales, Qantas Travel outlets and Qantas Airport locations. These fees do not apply to bookings and changes made online at qantas.com.

The fees for consultant assisted bookings apply in addition to any amounts payable under the applicable fare rules, which are summarised in the Fare Guide below.

Fees for making bookings: For bookings made through Qantas Telephone Sales, Qantas Travel outlets and Qantas Airport locations, a fee made of GBP20 per person applies. For Qantas & Jetstar Points Plus Pay - Flight bookings made through Qantas Telephone Sales, a per-person Reward Assistance Fee in either money or points will apply.

Fees for making changes and cancellations to bookings: For changes and cancellations to Economy and Premium Economy bookings (where permitted under the applicable fare rules) through Qantas Telephone Sales, Qantas Travel outlets and Qantas Airport locations, a fee of GBP30 per person applies.

The above fees do not apply for bookings made, changed or cancelled online at qantas.com.

No fees apply when you are entitled to a refund or alternative flight under any applicable local law or the Conditions of Carriage 

Changes made prior to the original date of departure: If you make a change to your travel date you may be eligible for a fee-free change under the Qantas Fly Flexible Policy. Visit Fly Flexible for more information.

Important Information

Flight Changes

  • The fare for your new booking may be higher than the original fare, depending on what fares are available via our Contact Centre.
  • You must pay any difference between the fare for your new booking and the original fare.
  • Your new booking must be for travel anywhere on the Qantas network within 12 months of the date that the original ticket was issued.
  • Name Changes are not permitted.

+ Price per stopover. Stopovers are not permitted in New Zealand.

# Your booking may be eligible for Book Now, Pay Later depending on your departure date and provided it is not combined with an immediate payment flight. Qantas & Jetstar Points Plus Pay - Flights are not eligible for Book Now, Pay later. If your booking is eligible, you will be given the option to pay later on the Purchase page. You will also be told when full payment is due (note while your booking is on hold, the total ticket price may change due to amendments in surcharges, taxes and fare adjustments). A £15 per person holding guarantee (which will be refunded on full payment online) holds the booking for you until the due date for payment. If you do not make payment, you will forfeit the holding guarantee.
