Qantas fast and free inflight Wi-Fi is available on selected A330-200D or B737-800 flights. Stay in touch with your favourite networking apps, browse the web or stream a world of movies, audiobooks, TV shows or music while you're in the air. Plus, you'll have free access to news publications through our partners The Australian Financial Review, The Australian and The Monthly.
You can also get real-time flight updates and offers, as well as weather and transportation options for your destination by visiting wifi.qantas.com while in the air.
Selected international flights now have Wi-Fi over Australia
We're expanding our inflight Wi-Fi to selected international flights. When travelling on a Wi-Fi enabled A330-200D or B737-800 aircraft to destinations including Singapore, Bali, Jakarta and Manila, you can now connect to the internet while flying over mainland Australia.
Once onboard your Wi-Fi enabled aircraft, connect your own device to Qantas fast and free inflight Wi-Fi in three simple steps:
Step 1
Select the 'Qantas free Wi-Fi' network in your settings once onboard.
Step 2
Follow the prompts on the 'Welcome Onboard' screen to connect.
Step 3
Once you're connected, you're ready to access the internet and start exploring.
- Keep Flight Mode activated throughout the flight.
- To ensure an enjoyable flight for everyone, switch your device to silent. Voice and video calls aren't permitted.
- Wi-Fi is available on all Qantas Australian domestic and selected international flights operated by A330-200D and B737-800 aircraft, and coverage may be limited on some routes.
- Wi-Fi isn't available on flights operated by QantasLink.
