Investing in our lounges
As we continue to invest in our lounge network, many of our lounges will be undergoing changes to bring you a refreshed Qantas lounge experience.

Sydney International Business Lounge
Construction on our Sydney International Business Lounge will commence from 8 December 2025, set for completion in early 2027. Inspired by Sydney’s natural landscape, such as the Blue Mountains and Bondi, the new lounge will include a refreshed food and beverage menu, a 30% increase in seating and a new outdoor terrace with views of Sydney's skyline. During this time, the lounge will move to a temporary space located near gate 24. In peak periods, you may be reaccommodated in an alternative lounge.

Auckland International Lounge
Our new Auckland International Lounge is set to open in December 2025. Celebrating the natural beauty of New Zealand, the expanded lounge will offer increased seating capacity and an uplifted food and beverage experience. During this time, the lounge will be temporarily closed. If you're flying on a Qantas operated flight, you'll be reaccommodated in either the Emirates or Strata Lounge.

Los Angeles Business Lounge
Our Los Angeles Business Lounge refresh is on track to be completed by early 2026, featuring a new look and feel and improved seating options.

Hobart Qantas Club
Plans are underway for a new Qantas Club in Hobart, due to open in 2026. With a modern design inspired by the Tasmanian landscape, the new lounge will feature substantially more space and increased seating options with runway views. During this time, the lounge has moved into a temporary space located opposite gate 5.
While we refresh our lounges, some will be temporarily closed. Gold Coast Qantas Club will be closed 10-16 November 2025, reopening with a fresh look and feel.

Regional lounge investment
Following the refresh of our Broome Regional Lounge, more regional lounges are set for an upgrade including Coffs Harbour, Mackay and Karratha. Commencing in February 2026, these lounges will close for a short period, re-opening with a distinct new look and modern furnishings.

Access to lounges is based on the class of travel, your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership tier, or your Qantas Club, oneworld or Emirates membership status. You can also use a Complimentary Lounge Invitation, buy a single-visit Qantas Lounge Pass if available or join the Qantas Club
