You will earn 2 Qantas Points per $1 spent.

An eligible rental is a booking that is made for an Apollo Campervan or Motorhome within New Zealand. You will not be able to earn Qantas Points on Hippie Camper rentals. Apollo car bookings are also not eligible to earn points.

Qantas Points are earned on the daily rental rate (once discounts have been taken off) of your booking only. Points are not earned on fees, taxes, optional extras of liability reduction/bond options etc.

If you book via a promotion where you are eligible to earn bonus Qantas Points, these will be credited separately to the base points earned. You will see these on your booking as Bonus Qantas Points.

Once your road trip has finished you have returned the vehicle, and your rental has been paid in full your points will be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 14 days.

If you book via a Travel Agent, you will need to add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number when you check in online prior to picking up. If you book through Apollo directly at apollocamper.co.nz or by phone on (AU) 1800 777 770, (NZ) 0800 113 131 you can add your Frequent Flyer number during the booking process.

No. Apollo will only accept 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer number per booking. This must be supplied at the time of booking or can be applied up until Online check in. Once a Qantas Frequent Flyer number has been added to a booking, this cannot be amended.   The QFF number must match the Apollo Main Driver name for points to be applied.

No. The surname on the booking needs to match that of the Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

Bookings made prior to 18 August 2021 will not be eligible to earn Qantas Points. However, if your booking was made after 18 August 2021 you are able to add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number at the online check in process prior to pick up to be eligible to earn points.

If you change your road trip booking to a different date, location or Apollo vehicle type, you will still earn Qantas Points on the value of the new booking. If you change from an Apollo rental to another brand then you will not be eligible to earn points.

No. If you choose to cancel your road trip booking all together then you won’t be eligible to earn points.

Members will earn Qantas Points on eligible Apollo rentals at the following rates: 2 Qantas Points per $1 spent for bookings made from 1 September 2022 for pick ups from 1 September 2022 to 31 August2024. 

For bookings made prior to 1 September 2022 and after from 26 May 2021 members will earn Qantas points on eligible Apollo Rentals at the following rates: 3 Qantas Points per $1 spent for pick ups between 26 May - 18 June 2021, 19 July to 10 September 2021, 11 October to 15 December  2021, 2 February 2022 to 31 March 2022, 26 April to 18 June 2022, 19 July to 10 September 2022, 11 October to 15 December 2022 (“off peak”), and 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent for pick ups between 19 June to 18 July 2021, 11 September to 10 October 2021, 16 December 2021 to 1 February 2022, 1 April to 25 April 2022, 19 June to 18 July 2022, 11 September to 10 October 2022, 16 December 2022 to 2 February 2023 (“peak”).  

An eligible vehicle is an Apollo branded campervan or motorhome. Frequent Flyer details must be provided at the time of booking or entered during online check-in prior to pick up to be eligible to earn points. Surname on the booking must match that of the Frequent Flyer account. Points will be earned on bookings made direct and via travel agents. If booking via a travel agent, the Frequent Flyer number will need to be entered during online check in prior to pick up. Valid when renting from Apollo New Zealand locations only. Points will be credited up to two weeks from completion of the rental period. Age, credit and driver requirements apply.
