If you plan to spend your holiday on and in the water, Gladstone offers a many ways to dive right in. The best time to visit is during turtle season, which occurs from November till March. The average temperatures from January to March is 23 to 31 degrees. The perfect time for snorkelling or surfing Queensland’s most northern surf break. Winter is from May to August with an average temperature below 24 degrees.

Getting into Gladstone from Gladstone Airport
Gladstone Airport is located seven kilometres from the CBD, approximately ten minutes drive by car. Taxis, hire cars, rideshare are all available at the terminal and the public Buslink 502 service departs outside the departures area.
Getting around Gladstone
Blue and White Taxis and Buslink buses operate in and around Gladstone. The Southern Great Barrier Reef can be reached by charter boat, or by booking a tour or scenic flight. The best way to explore the Discovery Coast is by hire car, but coach and train services also connect Gladstone to Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy.
