When to visit
December to February is the best time to visit Cebu City, as its summer and the dry season. It’s the ideal time for hot weather activities, swimming, diving and sightseeing with less rainfall. It is considered to be the gateway to paradise as it's located nearby to some of the most beautiful pristine beaches like Bantayan, Camotes, Mactan and Malapascua. The average temperature during this time is around 30°C. Festivals during this time are the Sinulog Festival and Holy Week. June, July and August are the summer months, with warm temperatures though it’s the rainy season with thunderstorms.

Choose from taxis, car rental, airport transfer or bus. Local white metered taxis are located at the domestic and international terminals and operate every 24 hours, and yellow taxis are also available. MyBus provide daily connections from the airport to Cebu city, with drop off points available through the city. Car rentals are available at the airport from both terminals with all the major providers to choose from. If you are travelling between terminals, there is a complementary shuttle bus to transfer passengers.
Getting around Cebu
There are plenty of ways to get around Cebu whether it’s by taxi, Uber, buses or jeepneys. The primary mode of transport is the jeepney, which has specific routes that can take you around the city. Jeepneys, multicabs, buses, and tricycles serve as the general transport between towns. Taxis can also be hired to take you to other parts of Cebu. Alternatively, you can rent a car for maximum comfort and convenience or join a guided tour.
