The warm and friendly Sydney Airport staff will greet you when you land and from there, getting into the CBD and surrounding suburbs is easy.

Getting into Sydney from Sydney Airport

For a quick and affordable option, the Airport Link train will take you to Central Station in about 13 minutes. Alternatively, there are taxis, ride share, transfers, town cars and car hire providers available.

Getting around Sydney

With a reliable and easy-to-use public transport network operating day and night, Sydney is very easy to explore. Purchase a pay-as-you-go Opal from a convenience store or train station and take advantage of the trains, buses, light rail and ferries across the city. Baggage allowance

 Passengers on Qantas flights from Wellington are allocated checked baggage. If you need more luggage, you can purchase an additional baggage allowance online prior to departure.      

Checking in 

Ensure you check-in online or via the Qantas App before you arrive at the airport from 24 hours before departure.
