If you would like a private transfer, you can book a transfer to any destination in Penang. There is a bus service that is frequent and covers most destinations from the airport. There is a free shuttle bus that goes around George Town and is a good way to see all the interesting sights. If travelling on the RapidPG bus network it’s a good idea to buy a pass for unlimited travel for a week. If your adventurous, you can hire a motorbike for a cheap way to get around, or it’s fun to take a ride in a rickshaw, found mainly in the centre of George Town. Penang island is not that big, though renting a car is a great way to see the island.
