Lang Co Beach is lined with palm trees, the water is crystal-clear lapping onto white sand. There are plenty of water activities to enjoy from swimming, snorkelling, water-skiing and diving. There are many places to see including Cao Dai Temple, Da Nang Cathedral and My Son. Good bargains can be found in the shops and sample authentic Vietnamese food at Da Nang’s local markets. There is lots of seafood, fresh vegetables and beachfront cafes. A day trip to UNESCO-listed Hoi An is a must. You’re spoilt for choice for sightseeing in Da Nang.

Getting into Da Nang from Da Nang Airport
With a range of transport options available at Da Nang Airport, travelling into the city centre is easy. Choose from taxis, car rental, airport transfer, ride-share or bus. Da Nang Airport is 2.5km to the city centre. Taxis are available on the arrivals area and be sure to confirm with the driver to have the meter on. It's possible to book a private transfer or organise through your hotel for an airport shuttle. Grab is the Vietnamese version of Uber making it very easy to get to the city. Just book a car through the Grab app. There is a public bus from the airport, about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which a cheap option, though not highly recommended.
Getting around Da Nang
There are plenty of convenient ways to get around Da Nang, whether it’s by taxi, ride-share, buses, motorcycle taxi, private cars or walking. The best way to get around is using Grab, the Vietnamese version of Uber. They are cheap and can be booked through the app. Grab Bike is another option where you sit on the back of a motorcycle instead of a car. Taxis are available everywhere in Da Nang, near hotels, tourist attractions and shopping malls. All taxis are fitted with meters so be sure to have it turned on. Motorcycle taxi is another good way to get around, where you hop on the back of a bike and it's cheaper than a regular taxi. You can easily find several parked at the tourist-friendly Bach Dang and Tran Phu Street as well as popular attractions such as My Khe Beach and Marble Mountains. Renting a bicycle is a good option, walking is easy or you can join a tour.
