Brisbane Airport (BNE), is the primary airport serving Brisbane and South-East Queensland. Located on Airport Drive at Eagle Farm, its approximately a 20 to 30-minute drive from Brisbane's city centre. The airport features two terminals, international and domestic, both well connected by the Airtrain, shuttle busses and other transport options.

Arriving at Brisbane Airport

Brisbane is a key gateway for many international travellers arriving in Australia, making Brisbane Airport an ideal starting point for a wide range of adventures. Once you’ve landed, exploring the city is simple thanks to Brisbane’s efficient and well-connected transport network, including trains, buses, ferries, and rideshare options.

Reaching Brisbane’s city centre is easy and convenient. For a budget-friendly option, take the Airtrain, which connects the airport to Brisbane City in as little as 20 minutes. For door-to-door service, taxis, rideshare vehicles, and airport shuttle services are readily available just outside the terminal. If you prefer to explore at your own pace, car hire options are also available and can be pre-booked for added convenience.

The city’s public transport system, Translink, offers an integrated network of clean and efficient trains, buses, and ferries (including CityCats), allowing seamless travel across the city and beyond. You can pay using contactless debit or credit cards, including your smartphone’s digital wallet, or by purchasing a reloadable ‘go card’ from selected retailers.

Brisbane is also a highly walkable city, with dedicated walking and cycling paths. For added flexibility, car hire is available and can be pre-booked or arranged upon arrival.
