Promenade des anglais at sunset, Nice, French Riviera

Nice, is a photogenic city located in the French Riviera on the southeast coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea. It’s near to Monaco, so if you are visiting in May and keen to take in the glamour of the city you can catch the Monaco Grand Prix. Nice is known for its stunning Promenade des Anglais, where you can sip a coffee on a sun-drenched terrace overlooking the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea - there is nothing better than a holiday in this French city. During your stay, wander through the cobbled streets of Vieux Nice, the old town and uncover boutiques, bistros, patisseries and historic churches, it feels like stepping back in time. Stoll around to the port and take in the grandeur of the super yachts, stop for a salad niçoise and a glass of rose. The stunning climate make this an outdoor city for everyone, from skaters, students, visitors and the well dressed couples on their way to Michelin stared restaurants. There is no better place than Nice.
