Customers arriving into T4 with connecting flights departing from TBIT can now reach their gate with a short 5 minute walk between terminals. Entry to the T4 Connector to TBIT is adjacent to T4 Gate 41.

Customers using the T4 Connector are not required to go through additional security screening at TBIT, and checked luggage that is tagged to a customer's final destination will be transferred to connecting flights.

After clearing immigration and customs, the T4 Connector provides a checked baggage inspection system plus a four-lane passenger security screening checkpoint so that customers can clear security in the sterile connections area, rather than being required to exit TBIT and re-clear security at the connecting terminal.

The TBIT entry to the T4 Connector is immediately to the right after Interline recheck area in TBIT.

From Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) to Terminal 4 or Terminal 5

If you're connecting to a domestic flight at T4 or T5, you'll need to clear passport control, collect your bag and clear customs.

If your bags are tagged to an onward destination, you'll need to recheck your bags at the transfer area. You can then proceed through the security screening checkpoint in the sterile connections area at TBIT and make your domestic connections without having to clear the TSA screening area at T4 or T5.

If your bags haven't been checked to your onward destination, you'll need to make your way to T4 or T5 and check them in with the airline you're flying with.

T4 and T5 are within walking distance of TBIT.

Alternatively, you can board the LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections route 'A' shuttle on the arrivals level (operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, approx every 10 minutes).

From Terminal 5 to Terminal 4

If you're connecting from T5 to T4, you can walk straight from the arrival gates at T5 to the departure gates at T4 without having to exit the secured side of the TSA screening area.
