Santiago Airport

Santiago International Airport (SCL) is the largest and busiest airport in Chile and is located in Pudahuel, 15 km (9.3 miles) northwest of downtown Santiago.

Codeshare flights

QF321 and QF322, operated by LAN, arrive and depart from the international terminal.

All Australia and Mexico passport holders entering Chile through Santiago International Airport are required to pay a 'reciprocity fee'. Contact the nearest embassy or consulate of Chile, or the Santiago airport for up-to-date information on fees. Australian citizens can consult the Australian government Smartraveller site.



The sales desk is open during the handling of QF28 on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and is located across from the check-in counters.


Check-in is open from 9:30 am to 1 pm Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Economy check-in is available from counters 20-25.

Check-in for Business, Chairman's Lounge, Qantas Club and oneworld Emerald customers is located in the preferential check-in area adjacent to LAN on the 3rd level, Entrance 6.

Online check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199) and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines. Online check-in opens 24 hours before your flight departure and closes two hours before international flight departures.

For Qantas codeshare flights, customers may need to check in with the operating carrier rather than with Qantas. Ask airport staff for more details.

Baggage services are handled by LAN. The office is located on the arrivals level in front of Entrance 6 on the west side of the terminal.
