Platinum Bonus Reward

For those who fly with us more than most, we offer a choice of reward options, designed to give you more of what you want.

When you earn 2,400 Status Credits from eligible flights, including at least four eligible Qantas or Jetstar flight segments in a Membership Year, we'll reward you with a choice of:

50,000 bonus Qantas Points in your account; or
Complimentary Gold Frequent Flyer membership for a family member or friend.

This offer is valid for 90 days after the date the Platinum Bonus Reward is achieved. Retrospective claims can't be made once the offer has expired.

How the Platinum Bonus Reward works

Earn 2,400 Status Credits from eligible flights with a Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, 3K or GK) flight number

Ensure at least four of your eligible flights are Qantas or Jetstar flight segments

Choose your reward in My Profile within 90 days of the date the Platinum Bonus Reward is achieved

Platinum Bonus Reward choices

Bonus 50,000 Qantas Points

With so many ways to use your points, choosing 50,000 bonus points may be your preferred reward option. You could use points for a reward seat, flight upgrades, hotels and accommodation options worldwide plus more.

There's also the Family Transfer option, which allows you to transfer between 5,000 and 600,000 points in any 12-month period to an Eligible Family Member.

Simply login to My Profile to choose this reward option. After selection, it may take up to four weeks for the bonus points to be added to your account.

Nominate any family member or friend for complimentary Gold membership. View Gold benefits.

Simply login to My Profile to choose this reward option. Have details of the person you're nominating, including their Qantas Frequent Flyer number if they're already a member. If they're not a member yet, they can join for free.

What you need to know

You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer to earn and use Qantas Points. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.

Status Credits earned from other partner airlines, non flying offers and from Status Credit bonus earn promotions and Loyalty Bonus will not contribute towards the Platinum Bonus Reward.
