Qantas Engineering keeps us at the forefront of aviation, maintaining both the Qantas fleet and aircraft for our customers across the Asia-Pacific region. Working with state-of-the-art equipment and resources, our shared commitment to professional excellence continues to keep our aircraft in optimal condition and our customers flying.

Our customers include Qantas Airlines, Jetstar, Qantas Defence Services and Express Freighters Australia (operating for AaE). Across these groups, we implement engineering and maintenance solutions for Boeing 737, 747, 767 and Airbus A330 aircraft.

Working with state-of-the-art equipment and resources on leading edge engineering solutions, you'll help maintain Qantas Engineering's position as the commercially successful supplier of choice for the Qantas Group, and for around 30 other customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Aircraft trades

Utilise your skills in one of the largest aircraft engineering and maintenance organisations in the Asia-Pacific region, incorporating Line Maintenance and Heavy Maintenance with an international reputation for operational excellence and safety.

With a workforce of predominantly Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs), you can build your career at our maintenance facilities and line stations across Australia and overseas, and help deliver world's best practice performance.

Aircraft support trades

Be a part of the team tasked with maintaining optimum performance for an array of engine and aircraft components including fuel, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and avionics.

Our centres of excellence incorporate a range of industry leading technical functions to ensure our reputation for high quality engineering is maintained by delivering highly reliable support that meets the various regulatory standards.

The workforce consists of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Aircraft Mechanics and a range of specialist skills such as Painters, Trimmers, Fitters and Turners.

Professional Engineers

As a qualified Professional Engineer with expertise in Avionics, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Structural and/or Power Plant fields, you'll provide safe, cost effective and high quality engineering solutions to support the aircraft fleet in relation to airworthiness and reliability, ensuring compliance with certification and ongoing regulatory requirements.

Your engineering qualifications, experience in project management, and possibly aircraft operational support, would be your platform for a dynamic and successful career.
