Our research into Australian consumer attitudes on sustainable goods and services.
We have created unique partnerships that use research and experiments to deliver critical consumer insights on environmental sustainability. These include data analysis by Qantas Loyalty’s Red Planet and Harvard University's STAR Lab.
In 2019 we launched the Qantas Future Planet Insights Report (PDF) - a study of Australian consumer attitudes on sustainable goods and services. It's the second report in a longitudinal piece of research repeated annually.
What our research tells us:
- There is a strong view that businesses have a key role to play in tackling environmental issues.
- Consumer demand for 'green' products or services is clear, and more than three quarters of Qantas Frequent Flyers say they are willing to pay a premium for them
- Demand for carbon neutral products and services transcends industries
