Lounge access

Temporary measures have been put in place such as lounge capacity restrictions, physical distancing requirements and changes to our food and beverage service offerings. At times, changes such as lounge closure and/or a reduction in operating hours may also occur. 

Existing memberships

If you had an active membership as of 23 March 2021, we've applied a further three-month extension to eligible paid Qantas Club memberships and most complimentary lounge invitations. For more information, refer to Qantas Club Membership and Lounge Invitations Extensions.

Qantas Club members may access a Qantas Club, Qantas domestic regional lounge and Qantas International Business Lounge when their next flight on the same day is with a Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, 3K or GK) flight number on their ticket. Partner and Associated lounge access is subject to various conditions of entry. Qantas Club members will also be welcomed at the Emirates Business Lounge in Dubai when their next onward flight that day is a flight with a Qantas (QF) flight number. Qantas Frequent Flyer members who renew their Qantas Club Individual membership for 1- or 2-years between 12.01am (AEST) 21 May and 11.59pm (AEST) 30 July 2021 are eligible to earn bonus Status Credits. Members who purchase a 1-year renewal membership, will earn a bonus 50 Status Credits; and members who purchase a 2-year renewal membership, will earn a bonus 100 Status Credits. Individual membership does not include any new memberships opened as part of Group or Corporate membership scheme. Qantas Club Corporate, Group or Partner memberships and Annual Guest Cards are not eligible for this bonus offer. This offer is not transferable. Only one bonus Status Credits offer can be applied per individual renewing their Qantas Club Individual membership. Bonus Status Credits may take up to six weeks after purchase to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. Those who renew their Qantas Club Individual memberships using Qantas Points during the promotion period will be eligible to earn bonus Status Credits. Bonus Status Credits earned from this offer do not count towards Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus Reward and Status Accelerator/Challenge earn requirements.

When visiting an international Qantas Club lounge, you are able to invite one guest each time you visit. Both you and your guest need to be travelling together further that day on the same flight.

Points Club Plus members will receive complimentary digital Qantas Club Individual membership each Membership Year that they are a Points Club Plus member. Digital Qantas Club membership means that a member will not have a physical membership card but will be able to access their Qantas Club membership from their smartphone and view Qantas Club benefits online at The complimentary Qantas Club membership benefit is non-transferable.
