Can I book an international hotel through Classic Hotel Rewards?
No, currently you can only book these great offers on Australian hotels. If you want to use your Qantas Points to book international hotels, you can instead use the Points Plus Pay payment.

What happened to Classic Hotel Rewards on international destinations?
Classic Hotel Rewards is currently not available for international bookings due to a technical issue sourcing these offers from our hotel partners. We are working to bring back Classic Hotel Rewards for international hotels in 2019.

How far in advance can I book?
Bookings can be made up to 12 months in advance.

How many hotel rooms are available?
Availability is limited, especially during peak times such as school and public holidays. Tip: If your chosen hotel is not available as a Classic Hotel Reward check back again later as additional rooms may be released sporadically.

How do I view Classic Hotel Reward availability and book?
To view and book a Classic Hotel Reward:
1. View qantas.com/hotels
2. Enter your destination and date. You will find better availability when you search more than six months in advance.
3. Make sure your display is set to Qantas Points mode on the left hand side
4. Choose a Classic Hotel Reward from the list.

Eligibility

Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn 3 Qantas Points for every A$1 value for all hotel stays, except Classic Hotel Rewards, booked at qantas.com. Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn 6 Qantas Points per A$1 value when booking offers at qantas.com/luxuryhotels. The ability to use Points Plus Pay is subject to meeting the minimum points requirement of 5,000 Qantas Points. Qantas Points may be earned by the member in whose name the booking is made. Minimum night stays and blackout dates may apply. A Classic Hotel Reward must be booked using Qantas Points only.

Qantas Points will not be earned on cancelled or refunded bookings. Separate bookings made for consecutive nights at the same hotel or resort will not be awarded the bonus points. Qantas Points cannot be split between two or more members occupying the same room. Some accommodation providers may not allow you to combine this offer with any other offer. Members will not be able to redeem points for, or earn points on additional charges paid to the accommodation provider for extras (including cots, breakfasts and other incidentals) on check-in or check-out (as applicable). Members will not be able to redeem points for additional hotel charges for extras (including cots, breakfasts and other incidentals) on check-in or check-out (as applicable). Qantas Points cannot be earned on Classic Hotel Rewards.

When do I provide my Frequent Flyer number?

You must provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to Qantas Hotels when you book.

How long until I get my Qantas Points?

Points will be credited to your Frequent Flyer account within eight weeks after checking out.

Exchange rate

If Eligible Bookings are made in currencies other than AUD, the number of Qantas Points earned will be calculated based on the exchange rate of the day when payment was made.
