Plan your trip between January and March for hot 30°C weather, although cyclones, humidity and afternoon showers are not uncommon at this time. Hamilton Island is a car-free, though buggy hire is available and a resort bus service runs regularly to take you around the island. Hamilton Island Airport is only 1km from the town.
Getting around Hamilton Island
Hamilton Island is a car-free destination with buggies the main mode of transport. It’s best to pre-book a buggy to ensure availability when you arrive. There is a free shuttle bus that follows three routes around the island and runs regularly and its easy to walk around the island with restaurants, pools and bars to try.

Tokyo International Airport (HND). Also known as Haneda Airport, Tokyo Haneda Airport, and Haneda International Airport, is one of two international airports serving the Greater Tokyo Area. It is located less than 30 minutes south of central Tokyo, considerably closer to the city centre than Narita Airport, Tokyo's other airport. There are free shuttle services between all terminals.

All passengers flying from Hanada are allocated checked baggage. If you need more luggage, you can purchase an additional baggage allowance online prior to departure.
