Travel to and via Singapore
Travelling has changed, and you may need to do a little more planning and preparation before take-off. Ensure you check and comply with all airline and government travel requirements before arriving at the airport.

As of 13 February 2023, there are no longer any COVID-19 related entry requirements for Singapore.

Some countries have restrictions around transiting. If you're transiting via another country or onto another international flight, ensure you check the requirements of your transiting and destination country to ensure their Government allows you to transit.
If your itinerary includes travel with another airline, or Qantas codeshare flights which are operated by another airline on their aircraft, you'll need to contact them directly to understand and meet their requirements.
Entry requirements
There are no longer any COVID-19 measures for travellers arriving in Singapore from 13 February 2023, regardless of vaccination status or traveller profile. Travellers must ensure that they fulfil all other general entry requirementsOpens external site in a new window.
Transiting through Singapore
All travellers can transit through Singapore as long as they meet the entry requirements of their final destination.
Transit travellers refer to those who are connecting onto an onward flight to another country via Singapore without clearing arrival immigration. Singapore does not require COVID-19 tests, travel visas or entry approvals for transit travellers, provided your flights are booked on a single ticket.
Travellers who intend to clear arrival immigration to enter Singapore, or have booked separate flights under different tickets which requires them to enter Singapore to collect baggage and check in again for the connecting flight, are not considered transit travellers. You must ensure you meet all the entry requirements for Singapore as detailed in the section above.
Passengers must check the requirements for each country you're travelling to or through, including whether transit travellers are accepted for entry.

Some countries have restrictions around acceptance of transit passengers (for example, some countries only permit you to travel on direct flights) or other requirements (including vaccinations, entry approvals or visas, and pre-departure testing).
Note: COVID-19 pre-departure tests are not available in the transit area of Singapore Changi Airport.
Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR
You cannot transit through Singapore to a destination in Mainland China or Hong Kong SAR. Services from Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR to Singapore remain unaffected. Passengers departing from Mainland China or Hong Kong will be allowed to transfer through Singapore Changi Airport en route to their final destinations.
