The Field of Light

A visit to Uluru isn’t complete without spending an evening at The Field of Light, where colours light up the dessert. Pathways draw you into the art installation, which comes to life under a sky brilliant with stars.
A global phenomenon by internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro, has come ‘home’ to the place that inspired it – Uluru. The installation named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakutjaku means ‘looking at lots of beautiful lights’.

Tropical Light Festival details Green outdoor lighting up a walkway at night

Tropical Light Festival

An outdoor exhibition, featuring 8 works installed across the CBD from November 2019 to April 2020. The works, created by renowned artist Bruce Munro, are a collection of illuminated sculptures reflecting the artists personal history of visiting the Northern Territory and across Australia. A self-guided path connects the exhibition allowing you to be inspired with interest by day, and be illuminated at night.
