Santiago International AirportOpens external site in a new window (SCL) is the largest and busiest airport in Chile and is located in Pudahuel, 15 km (9.3 miles) northwest of downtown Santiago.
All customers travelling on an Australian passport, and entering Chile through Santiago International Airport, are required to apply online for a visa, which they need prior to check-in. Customers travelling on other passports should check the Chile entry requirements.
Qantas flights QF1-399 operate from International Terminal 2.
International flights arrive and depart from the International terminal. Visit Santiago AirportOpens external site in a new window for the latest terminal information including Qantas codeshare, partner and oneworld airlines.
Customers with domestic connections should collect their bags and proceed through immigration. After exiting immigration, follow the signs to the Domestic Terminal to recheck any bags. Self-service kiosks are also available.
On arrival, customers should follow the signs to the International Transfer area. After security checks, customers can proceed to their departure gate for their next flight.
Customers may proceed to the Qantas check-in area or to the Qantas departure gate. Check-in locations and departure gate information is displayed on screens throughout the terminal.
To find details of the current Qantas check-in location, refer to the information monitors in the terminal building. Check-in opens from 3 hours before departure.
Online check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199), and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworldOpens external site in a new window, partner and codeshare airlines. Online Check-in opens 24 hours before your flight departure and closes two hours before international flight departures.
If you're travelling on a Qantas code-share or partner flight, check-in with the operating airline.

Passengers are required to complete a 'SAG Affidavit' either online using the QR codes in the terminal, or by completing the paper form available in the baggage hall.
Baggage carousels are located in the arrivals hall. Information monitors display flight carousel numbers.
Baggage Services has a counter located in the baggage collection area.
