Located one hours drive south west from Cairns City, nestled amongst ''Mabi'' rainforest and Halloran's Hill Environmental Park, The Summit Rainforest Retreat offers rooms, Studio Suites, a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment and a 4 bedroom holiday house or a conference centre on the Atherton Tablelands, for you or your group's private indulgence. The Summit Rainforest Retreat is located in the Cairns Highlands, also known as the Atherton Tablelands, in Far North Queensland, Australia. The Retreat is situated on the summit of an extinct volcano and commands the highest point in Atherton. You will love the tranquil rainforest setting with its 180 degree panoramic views. Peace and tranquility is assured on over two hectares of land.The Summit Rainforest Retreat is unique in its quality, the number of guests it can cater for, its position and the native flora and fauna that surrounds it. The extended local area is an ecological wonderland. It is one of the most diverse regions in Australia with four distinct landscapes. A highlight is to visit a 71 hectare private property which is registered as Land for Wildlife. Walks and canoe hire are available to get up close and view native rainforest with some of the inhabitants.

An itinerary will be sent to you on the day of arrival. This will explain how to get to the property and contain a 4 digit code to access your key from the key dispenser. On departure the key is placed back into the dispenser.
