Nestled in thick forest on the side of Mount Paul, a 1200 acre "Land for Wildlife" private land surrounded by protected National Park land, Freycinet Resort (previously known as Freycinet Retreat) offers a private, peaceful and luxurious experience. As the only accommodation on the mountain, we are able to offer unparalleled 360-degree views that encompass The Hazards, Friendly Beaches, Great Oyster Bay and the Tasman Sea. We invite you to step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in the spectacular wilderness of Tasmania’s East Coast.

To find Freycinet Resort (previously known as Freycinet Retreat), take the C302 Coles Bay Road turning off the A3 Tasman Highway, (signposted Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park). After 18km take a left turning onto a gravel road, signposted “Freycinet Retreat”. Go through the gate (it is not locked) and proceed along this gravel road for approximately 2km, ignoring a driveway to the left, until you pass through a gate. Shortly after you arrive in the property, you will come to a fork in the road. Please turn right and follow the signs through the property for a further 2kms, to our reception. Please observe the speed limit of 30km/h once you leave the tarmac. If for some reason the Reception is not manned, we apologise for this in advance, and will leave a note in the box marked "check ins" next to the front door. This will give you directions and instructions on how to access your accommodation. If you have any problems please call 0408504414.Bed Types are requests only and may not be honoured at the hotel if availability does not permit.
