Darwin airport

Darwin International Airport (DRW) is the busiest and largest airport in the Northern Territory. It's located 13km from the city centre on Henry Wrigley Drive, Marrara.

Flights

Both domestic (QF400 and above) and international (QF1-QF399) services operate from the same airport.

Departures

Ticketing

The sales desk is located on the ground floor and is open for Qantas domestic departures only. For International ticketing you'll need to contact your local Qantas office.

Check-in

Check-in for Qantas domestic flights opens 90 minutes before departure and three hours before international flights depart.

Online check-in is available for Qantas and QantasLink Australian domestic flights, Qantas international flights (QF1-199), and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines. Online check-in opens 24 hours before your flight departure and closes 30 minutes before domestic flight departures, and two hours before international flight departures. 

Note: For Qantas codeshare flights, customers may need to check in with the operating carrier rather than with Qantas. Ask airport staff for more details.

Body scanners

International and transit passengers at Darwin International Airport will be subject to body scanner screening, which will be conducted on a random and continuous basis.

Arrivals

Baggage carousels are located in the arrivals hall (ground floor). Information monitors display flight carousel numbers.

Baggage Services counter is located the check-in area on the ground floor.
