Latest News from Qantas Frequent Flyer
Changes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer terms and conditions
With effect from 1 May 2013, Qantas Frequent Flyer will amend clauses 3.2 and 3.3 of the terms and conditions of the program. The changes will mean that from this date:
- Qantas will use best efforts to give members at least three months notice (rather than the current six months) of material changes to the terms and conditions that limit benefits provided by Qantas; and
- Members living in Australia and New Zealand will now receive notice of relevant changes by email and/or online at qantas.com (rather than by mail), so it's important for all members to have their email address up to date.
Less points and more destinations with Jetstar
We've made it easier for you to be rewarded with Jetstar, taking 20% off the number of points you need for a Jetstar Classic Award# when you travel on Jetstar only. Better still, you can now use your points for Classic Award flights on Jetstar Asia, Valuair and Jetstar Japan - that's flights with a 3K, VF or GK flight number - so you can explore more of Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the South Pacific. The new points levels apply to Jetstar Classic Award bookings made from 8 April 2013 for bookings on Jetstar (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K), Valuair (VF) and Jetstar Japan (GK) only or a combination of these carriers.
