Booking QF on partner airlines

Did you know that beyond the destinations Qantas flies to, we also offer the option of a Qantas (QF) flight number+ on codeshare services operated by other airlines? When travelling on the Qantas (QF) flight number, you'll earn points and Status Credits exactly as you do when flying on a Qantas aircraft. So make sure you book the QF flight number whenever there's the option to get the most from your flight.

  • QantasLink (QF) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas Airways and Australia's largest regional airline. It operates around 2,000 flights each week to nearly 50 metropolitan and regional destinations across Australia. QantasLink is comprised of three different regional airlines - Airlink, Eastern Australia Airlines and Sunstate Airlines.
  • Jetstar (JQ) is a low fares airline flying from Australia and New Zealand to 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, along with partners Jetstar Asia (3K) based in Singapore, Jetstar Japan (GK) based in Tokyo, and Jetstar Pacific (BL) based in Vietnam.

You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Qantas Frequent Flyer membership, Status Credits and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.
* Qantas Points and Status Credits (where applicable) are earned on eligible flights with that airline's flight number on your ticket. Qantas Points and Status Credits may not be earned on some fare types and booking classes. For full details, see Airline Earning Tables for details on the conditions for the applicable airline.
~ Classic Flight Reward seats are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited, particularly around peak times such as school and public holidays. Some flights may not have any Classic Flight Reward seats available. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable in addition to the Qantas Points required, are subject to change and are quoted at the time of booking. The ability to redeem Qantas Points for taxes, fees and carrier charges for eligible travel entirely within Australia and selected international flights commencing in Australia is only available when booking at qantas.com and 'Search Qantas & Partner Classic Flight Rewards' is not ticked before searching for flights. For eligible travel entirely within New Zealand, the ability to redeem Qantas Points for taxes, fees and carrier charges is only available when booking at qantas.com and 'Search Qantas & Partner Classic Awards' is ticked before searching for flights. Classic Flight Reward seats must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure unless booking on qantas.com where Reward bookings may be booked up to 2 hours before scheduled departure for domestic flights or up to 4 hours for international flights (and other advance booking requirements may apply). Classic Flight Rewards are not available on some routes of oneworld alliance and partner airlines and some restrictions may apply.
^ The Minimum Points Guarantee applies per segment to eligible flights and fares on selected partner airlines and applies after any applicable bonuses for membership status and/or promotional offers have been added.
# Points Plus Pay - Flights are available on any itinerary with a QF or JQ, 3K or GK flight number. A limited number of seats on selected partner airlines (as offered by Qantas at the time of booking on qantas.com) may be combined with your Qantas or Jetstar flights in Points Plus Pay - Flights. Partner airline flights which may be combined with Jetstar flights in a Points Plus Pay - Flight are more limited than those which may be combined with Qantas flights. Jetstar partner airlines currently include Jetstar Asia (3K), Jetstar Pacific (BL) and Jetstar Japan (GK).
+ Selected flights operated by Qantas Frequent Flyer partner airlines also offer the option of a Qantas (QF) flight number. When booking a QF flight number, members earn Qantas Points and Status Credits at the Qantas rate. All flights operated by partner airlines offering a QF flight number are available on qantas.com.
