Earning Qantas Points

From 1 December 2015 you'll earn Qantas Points based on where you fly, as well as your choice of airline and the fare purchased, on eligible fares and flights with El Al. Find out how much you could earn with our calculator.

Using Qantas Points

You can use your points on El Al for a:

> Classic Flight Reward - our most popular and best value Reward Flight option. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable in addition to the Qantas Points required for Classic Flight Rewards

For travel until 31 January 2015:
Classic Flight Reward bookings may be made only for flights between Israel and Asia, India, South Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

For travel from 1 February 2015:
You can only use your Qantas Points on El Al for a Classic Flight Reward in Economy class.
Classic Flight Reward bookings may be made only for selected flights between Israel and Asia, Canada, Europe, India, South Africa, and the United States of America.

You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Qantas Frequent Flyer membership, Status Credits and the earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.
* Qantas Points and Status Credits (where applicable) are earned on eligible flights with that airline's flight number on your ticket. Qantas Points and Status Credits may not be earned on some fare types and booking classes. Some flights may not have any Classic Flight Reward seats available. For eligible travel entirely within New Zealand, the ability to redeem Qantas Points for taxes, fees and carrier charges is only available when booking at qantas.com and 'Search Qantas & Partner Classic Awards' is ticked before searching for flights. Classic Flight Reward seats must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure unless booking on qantas.com where Reward bookings may be booked up to 2 hours before scheduled departure for domestic flights or up to 4 hours for international flights (and other advance booking requirements may apply). Classic Flight Rewards are not available on some routes of oneworld alliance and partner airlines and some restrictions may apply.
