Terms and Conditions

1) Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Headings in this document are included for ease of reference, and do not affect interpretation in any way.

2) The promoter is Qantas Airways Limited (ABN 16 009 661 901) of 10 Bourke Road, Mascot, NSW 2020 (telephone number 02 9691 3636) (Promoter).

Duration
3) All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the date stated. The promotion commences at 12.01am on Friday 1 May 2015 and closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 31 May 2015 (Promotion Period).

Eligibility to enter
4) Entry is open only to Australia resident Qantas Frequent Flyer members (as per their preferred mailing address in their Profile) who are aged 18 years or over (Eligible Entrants), excluding directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate.

Entry into the promotion
5) To enter, Eligible Entrants must during the Promotion Period:

i) Register their details for the promotion via qantas.com/winatrip;
ii) make a new booking for any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket. This could be a Commercial, Classic Flight Reward or Points Plus Pay - Flight booking. Qantas Frequent Flyer members must ensure their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number is in the booking; and
iii) choose which prize they would like to win.

6) The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.

7) Eligible Entrants are permitted one entry (multiple entries are not permitted). One entry will be awarded for the first booking made during the Promotion Period where the member who has registered for the promotion is listed as a passenger. For the avoidance of doubt, only new bookings made during the Promotion Period will be eligible. Any bookings made prior to the Promotion Period will not be eligible. Bookings that are cancelled during the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

8) The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the booking is made and the prize has been chosen by the Eligible Entrant.

9) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Drawing of entries
10) There will be a total of six (6) draws. All Eligible Entries will be entered in the applicable prize choice draw as they selected in condition 5 c) ie Draw 1 - Dubai Prize; Draw 2 - Hawaii Prize; Draw 3 - Singapore Prize; Draw 4 - Tokyo Prize; Draw 5 - Hamilton Island Prize & Draw 6 - Qantas Cash® Prize. The draws will take place at 2.00pm on 9 June 2015 at the offices of MDSA at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089. The draws will be conducted by MDSA (Drawer). The winners will be determined by an automated random draw of all eligible entries.

11) The result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prizes
12) There will be six (6) prizes in total. The maximum total prize pool value is AU$34,221, based on the recommended retail value and the exchange rate at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes.

13) The Dubai prize is:
a) Two (2) return Economy tickets for two (2) adults flying on Qantas to Dubai from the winner's nearest Australian airport serviced by Qantas or QantasLink (flight associated taxes are included). Flights to and from Dubai will be via Sydney or Melbourne. While the winners requested domestic connecting flight times (where applicable) will try to be accommodated, flights are subject to availability and any ancillary accommodation is at the expense of the winner.
b) A voucher for a four (4) night stay including breakfast at One&Only Royal Mirage, Dubai. Valid for twin-share accommodation in a Deluxe Room between 1 April - 30 November 2015 and is subject to availability at time of booking. Black-out dates may apply and voucher is not valid over public holidays, festive season, Eid and Easter. Voucher must be presented upon arrival and is non-transferrable.

Prize travel and accommodation must be booked by 1 November 2015. Prize travel and accommodation must be completed by 30 November 2015. There can be no changes to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued or accommodation bookings once the reservation is confirmed.
The maximum value of the Draw 1 Prize is $3,914.

The Hawaii prize is:
a) Two (2) return Economy tickets for two (2) adults flying on Qantas to Honolulu from the winner's nearest Australian airport serviced by Qantas or QantasLink (flight associated taxes are included). Flights to and from Honolulu will be via Sydney. While the winners requested domestic connecting flight times (where applicable) will try to be accommodated, flights are subject to availability and any ancillary accommodation is at the expense of the winner.
b) Six (6) nights' accommodation at the Halekulani Hotel in an Ocean Front guestroom with daily breakfast for two (2) people. Blackout dates may apply.

Prize travel and accommodation must be booked by 1 November 2015. Prize travel and accommodation must be completed by 30 November 2015. There can be no changes to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued or accommodation bookings once the reservation is confirmed.
The maximum value of the Draw 2 Prize is $9,316.

The Singapore prize is:
a) Two (2) return Economy tickets for two (2) adults flying on Qantas to Singapore from the winner's nearest Australian airport serviced by Qantas or QantasLink (flight associated taxes are included). Flights to and from Singapore will be via Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. While the winners requested domestic connecting flight times (where applicable) will try to be accommodated, flights are subject to availability and any ancillary accommodation is at the expense of the winner.
b) Voucher for 4 nights stay in a Palm Court Suite at Raffles Hotel Singapore with daily breakfast for 2 persons in Tiffin Room and Singapore Sling cocktail for 2 persons. Valid from March - December 2015. Blackout dates may apply.

Prize travel and accommodation must be booked by 1 December 2015. Prize travel and accommodation must be completed by 31 December 2015. There can be no changes to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued or accommodation bookings once the reservation is confirmed.
The maximum value of the Draw 3 Prize is $7,622.

The Tokyo prize is:
a) Two (2) return Economy tickets for two (2) adults flying on Qantas to Tokyo (Haneda or Narita) from the winner's nearest Australian airport serviced by Qantas or QantasLink (flight associated taxes are included). Flights to and from Tokyo (will be via Sydney or Brisbane). While the winners requested domestic connecting flight times (where applicable) will try to be accommodated, flights are subject to availability and any ancillary accommodation is at the expense of the winner.
b) A gift certificate for a three (3) night stay at Park Hyatt Tokyo in a Park Deluxe Room (55sqm) for two (2) persons, with breakfast and spa access. The validity of the gift certificate is 6 months (1 May - 31 Oct 2015). Black-out dates may apply and the voucher is not valid over public holidays, Christmas and any New Year's Eve and New Year's Day holidays.

Prize travel and accommodation must be booked by 1 October 2015. Prize travel and accommodation must be completed by 31 October 2015. There can be no changes to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued or accommodation bookings once the reservation is confirmed.
The maximum value of the Draw 4 Prize is $4,239.

The Hamilton Island prize is:
a) Two (2) return Economy tickets for two (2) adults flying on Qantas to Hamilton Island from the winner's nearest Australian airport serviced by Qantas or QantasLink (flight associated taxes are included). Flights to and from Hamilton Island will be via Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Cairns. While the winners requested domestic connecting flight times (where applicable) will try to be accommodated, flights are subject to availability and any ancillary accommodation is at the expense of the winner.
b) Two (2) nights' accommodation at qualia resort in a Leeward Pavillion, including seaplane transfers to the Great Barrier Reef with a snorkelling and swimming session at the Reef and lunch, a session with the naturopath and a 2hr spa therapy for two. Blackout dates may apply.

The maximum value of the Draw 5 Prize is $4,130.

The Qantas Cash® prize is:
To be eligible to receive the new Qantas Card with the option of Qantas Cash you must be an Australian resident Qantas Frequent Flyer member 16 years of age or older. Other terms and conditions and fees and charges may apply. Heritage Bank Limited (AFSL 240984) (the Issuer) issues Qantas Cash under arrangements between it, Qantas and Access Prepaid Australia Pty Ltd (AFSL 386837) (a MasterCard business) (Access). Access distributes Qantas Cash (together with Qantas which is an authorised representative of Access for the purposes of providing general financial product advice with respect to Qantas Cash). Access can be contacted at customercare@qantascash.com.
Access and Qantas earn foreign exchange revenue from Qantas Cash transactions. Access receives a processing fee from domestic Qantas Cash "point of sale" transactions. Qantas receives revenue generated by Qantas Cash transactions based on interchange fees paid to the Issuer, deposits held by the Issuer, cardholder fee and certain rebates and incentives from MasterCard Asia/Pacific Pte Ltd.

The maximum value of the Draw 6 Prize is $5,000.

14) Where applicable, prizes include GST and taxes included in the price of the ticket. Unless otherwise stated, the prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation, flights, accommodation or any other costs of a personal nature. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of each prize-winner and companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Prize travel is subject to Qantas' General Conditions of Carriage.

15) Prize travel and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking and prize travel is subject to availability of prize travel fares at the time of booking. The winners and their companions must travel together on all prize travel and will not accrue Qantas Points on any element of the prize. Upgrades cannot be purchased using cash or redeeming Qantas Points.

16) Winners are solely responsible for any and all in-room charges (e.g., mini-bar, movies) telephone calls, meals, beverages, gratuities, travel upgrades, personal incidentals and any other expenses not specified herein. The winner will be required to provide a valid Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Diners credit card, debit card, or cash deposit upon hotel check-in and all in-room charges, telephone calls, meals, beverages, hotel upgrades, amenities, personal incidentals, and any other expenses charged to the winner's hotel room will be charged to the winner's major valid credit card, debit card, or cash deposit provided. No substitution, assignment, redemption for cash, or transfer of any prize permitted. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prize. Rooms are subject to availability, additional restrictions may apply. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winners and their companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Prize travel is subject to Qantas' General Conditions of Carriage.

17) Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accept the conditions of use of that prize.

18) If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

Notification of the winner
19) The winners will be notified by email and by telephone by 11 June 2015 and their names will be published on qantas.com from 16 June 2015 and in The Australian newspaper on 17 June 2015.

Right of the Promoter to redraw
20) The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these promotion terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. For any prize that remains unclaimed at 11.00am on 10 September 2015, a second draw will be conducted by the Drawer on 16 September 2015 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any written direction given under applicable law. Any winners determined in accordance with clause 17 will be notified by email and telephone by 18 September 2015 and their name(s) will be published on qantas.com from 23 September 2015 and in The Australian newspaper on 24 September 2015.

Limitation of liability and variation of terms
21) If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. The Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.

22) The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, including but not limited to any breach of these terms and conditions, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties.

23) The exclusion of liability in clause 20 does not apply to limit or exclude liability:

a) for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the supply of goods or services which are supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business. To remove doubt: third party goods or services, which other than in connection with this promotion, are in the normal course of business supplied by a third party unrelated to the Promotion Parties, are not supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business; and the Promoter's Conditions of Carriage and general booking conditions (and any exclusions contained therein) apply despite any statement to the contrary in these terms and conditions; or
b) to the extent it is not permissible at law to limit or exclude liability in the manner contemplated in that clause (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).

Entry details and privacy
24) Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize. Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes (including to third parties involved in the promotion and any applicable statutory authorities) and to conduct marketing activities. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants' personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Statement, visit www.qantas.com/privacy to obtain a copy.

Tax Implications
25) The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
