When to visit
Autumn on Kangaroo Island is for some the best time of the year to visit. Warm days with long daylight hours for exploring and cooler nights, make it the perfect time to enjoy with a bottle of Kangaroo Island red wine from one of the local cellar doors. For bushwalkers, bird watchers and photographers, March to May are the ideal months to visit. Winter marks the start of whale watching season, so it’s also a good time to plan a visit to Kangaroo Island.
