When to visit

The best time to visit São Paulo is from March to May (autumn) or October to November (spring), when the temperatures are comfortable, less rain and the events are in full swing. Temperatures range from 26°C to 28°C. It's a good time to stroll through Ibirapuera Park and wander along Avenida Paulista filled with shops and restaurants. Summers (December to February) are hot and rainy, averaging around 27 °C. If you plan a visit in February or March, you'll be able to catch the Carnival in Rio. Even in winter (June to August), temperatures are still warm and dry.
