UnionPay is a fee-free and convenient method of payment.
- If your flight departs from China, including Hong Kong SAR, you can choose to pay with UnionPay.
- All UnionPay cards are accepted for online payments, and we accept co-branded UnionPay cards via our credit card payment options online, through your local Qantas office or at the airport. Note: Bookings made through your local Qantas office and selected airport locations, web chat and social media channels may attract an additional booking fee per passenger per booking – see the Schedule of Fees for more information.
- You can use your UnionPay card plus redeem Qantas Points for your flights.
- If your booking contains an amount for travel insurance, then you won’t be able to use UnionPay as a form of payment.
On the purchase page, select the UnionPay tab when paying for an eligible flight.
You'll be redirected to the UnionPay website to log in and make payment.
Once your secure payment has been confirmed, you'll be redirected back to the qantas.com confirmation page.
