Things to do

Kangaroo Island is known as nature’s playground. A must-visit is to Flinders Chase National Park to see the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch, the formations overlook the striking cliffs and magnificent blue Indian Ocean. Getting around

From the airport: Kingscote Airport is located 14 kilometres from the main town of Kingscote. Other larger towns of Penneshaw (51km) and American River (29km) are also not far. Car hire and transfers are available at the airport.

Explore the island: You'll need to hire a car or go on an organised tour to see the best of the island. Due to its size, there is no public transport or taxis available.
