1. Car hire: Earn points when you rent a car with Avis or Budget. Within Australia, 4 Qantas Points are earned per A$1 value on time and kilometre charges, excluding GST, insurance and miscellaneous charges. 700 Qantas Points are earned per rental overseas. Members must provide their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to the chosen car partner. Qantas Points are not earned on: Avis: government rates, travel industry rates and rentals that are part of a package, or some corporate rates. 2. Uber: In order to earn Qantas Points on eligible rides to and from selected airports, Members must login to the latest version of the Qantas app, set up or link their Qantas Frequent Flyer and Uber accounts,request an Eligible Ride via the Qantas app and complete that ride. Qantas Points will not be earned on cancelled or no-show trip requests. Qantas Points may take up to six weeks after your ride to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account. 3. Transfers: Qantas Frequent Flyers earn 1 Qantas Point per A$1 spent on transer options booked at qantas.com. For transfers and activities booked in a currency other than Australian dollars or in locations where the local currency is not Australian dollars, the Australian dollar equivalent amount will be calculated using an exchange rate on the day the booking was made, as determined by Viator who administers bookings for transfers and activities on qantas.com.
