Due to a variety of factors, including the impact of COVID-19, Qantas International flights are temporarily ineligible for Bid Now Upgrades and some changes have been made to our Business class features.

Bid Now Upgrades is available by invitation only for selected Qantas flights.
If your booking is eligible to receive a Bid Now Upgrade invitation, you have the opportunity to make an upgrade offer to a more premium cabin.
If you are flying with us in the next seven days and want to see if you're eligible for an upgrade or to review, modify or cancel your existing offer, enter your booking details below.
Within 7 days of your scheduled flight departure you may be emailed an invitation to make an offer to upgrade.
You can make, change or cancel your upgrade offer up to 8 hours before your scheduled flight departure.
Between 24 and 6 hours before your scheduled flight departure, we’ll send you an email to let you know whether your upgrade offer has been accepted or not.
If you receive an upgrade invitation, you can make an upgrade offer for all of the passengers in your booking. A minimum amount of money is required in order to make a bid.
Note that Bid Now Upgrade invitations will be made and upgrade offers will be accepted or rejected in Qantas' sole and absolute discretion.

Disclaimer: ^ Requests for Classic Upgrade Rewards (previously called Flight Upgrade Awards) are only available on Classic Flight Rewards in Economy and Premium Economy and eligible paid and confirmed Qantas domestic and international flights, with a QF flight number on your ticket and from time to time on codeshare flights operated by another carrier that have a Qantas (QF) flight number on your ticket. Classic Upgrade Rewards are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Classic Upgrade Rewards are not available from all fare types. See tables on qantas.com for details. International Classic Upgrade Rewards may be requested on certain international Points Plus Pay –Flights but are not available on international airfares booked in E, N, O, Q class (which includes some Qantas Points Plus Pay - Flights and some international Red e-Deal fares). Members must have sufficient points for the Classic Upgrade Reward at the time of request and when the upgrade is confirmed. If there are multiple people travelling in your booking and all passengers are Eligible Family Members, your online request for a Classic Upgrade Reward will apply to each passenger. If your booking includes passengers other than Eligible Family Members, you will need to contact Qantas Direct to split the booking and then you will be able to request an upgrade online at qantas.com. When an upgrade offer is accepted, a member will be notified by email. Qantas will deduct the amount of the upgrade offer from the nominated payment card and the Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account at any time from the time of acceptance. When an upgrade offer is accepted, the nominated payment card will be charged the money payable in the currency displayed on the payment page.
‡ If your Bid Now Upgrade offer is successful, the original fare conditions of your booking will apply to your upgraded booking. You will be entitled to all inclusions of the upgraded class except for Chauffeur Drive. Product offering varies by aircraft type. Aircraft and product offering are subject to change. You'll earn Qantas Points and Status Credits at the rate or your original booking.
