Further status support for Frequent Flyers

Qantas has announced an offer to extend the Frequent Flyer status of hundreds of thousands of its members for another 12 months. To qualify for the extension – and retain the various benefits that come with each membership tier – eligible members facing expiry in 2021 simply need to book a Qantas-operated flight between now and their current tier expiry date, for travel until the end of 2021.
This follows an automatic 12 month extension that was provided at the start of the pandemic, as travel restrictions prevented members from being able to do the flying necessary to retain their Silver, Gold, Platinum or Platinum One status. Learn more about the latest Status Support.

Effective 28 March 2020, Qantas Frequent Flyer and online sports store OnsportOpens external site launched a partnership offering Frequent Flyer members the opportunity to earn Qantas Points by shopping online. To earn points on products like NRL and AFL merchandise, activewear, running shoes and more members need to link their Frequent Flyer number to an Onsport account and shop online. Qantas Frequent Flyers can now earn Qantas Points with Luxaflex

A new partnership between Qantas and Luxaflex means that, for the first time, members are able to earn Qantas Points when purchasing blinds, awnings, shutters and shades. An update on earning Qantas Points with Criniti’s

Our partnership with Criniti’s has come to an end as a result of the Criniti’s chain entering into voluntary administration. As such, from 28 November 2019, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can no longer earn Qantas Points at Criniti’s restaurants.
You can still earn Qantas Points at over 18,000 restaurants in 12 countries when you book via Qantas Restaurants.

The Qantas Golf Club is closing

Effective 1 August 2019, the Qantas Golf Club will close, and in its place there will be a new club owned and managed by Golfnow offering paid Golfpass memberships. Subscribers of the Qantas Golf Club will continue to receive golf communications via email from Golfnow from 1 August 2019. If members do not wish to hear from Golfnow, they will be provided with the option to unsubscribe from future communications. Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn points on Golf AM Tour events and Golf Advisor travel booked through Golfnow from 1 August 2019. Frequent Flyers rewarded in program overhaul

Today is an exciting day for our Frequent Flyers. We are announcing the biggest suite of changes to the program since its inception 32 years ago.
These changes will help every Frequent Flyer fulfil their travel dreams by increasing the number of Classic Flight Reward seats, reducing fees and expanding the number of airline partners you can earn and use Qantas Points on around the world. Plus, for the first time, we will be unlocking travel benefits for members who primarily earn points on the ground with a new tiered Points Club and recognising those who spend a lifetime flying with us by expanding our flying tiers to include Lifetime Platinum.

Temporary suspension of Jet Airways (9W)
3 May 2019
Effective 18 April 2019, Jet Airways has published a notice about the temporary suspension of its flight operation. As a result, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can no longer earn Qantas Points or book Classic Flight Rewards on Jet Airways flights.
Retrospective claims for travel up to 18 April 2019 on Jet Airways can be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You'll need to include original boarding passes and copies of tickets, along with any other supporting documentation confirming your entitlement to the missing points.
You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer to earn and use Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.
