A pair of A380 Business Skybeds
Land yourself a priceless piece of Qantas memorabilia – a pair of pre-loved A380 Business Skybeds. Identical to the ones in the Queen of the Skies (our very own Boeing 747), they’ll make you feel like you're permanently in the sky. Full disclosure, the built-in screens don’t work outside of the plane, but picture this… reclining on a Skybed in your media room, sipping champagne, watching the latest blockbuster or bingeable series. They’ll be the hottest seats in the house!
This item includes:
- A pair of pre-loved A380 Business Skybeds, delivered to: Adelaide, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Canberra, Darwin, Southern Highlands, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Newcastle and the Central Coast, Nowra, Wollongong, Perth and Sydney areas. Please note that delivery will not occur before October.
- A converter so you can plug it into your electrical output.
Before you bid:
- Dimensions of the Skybed seat in the upright position: 156cmL x 142cmW x 129cmH.
- The seat will be placed on a timber rig with the following dimensions: 215cmL x 158cmW x 11cmH
- Weight of seats: 175kg; weight of timber rig: 60kg.
- Winner must ensure that there is enough space at the delivery address to host the Skybed seats, including wide access to the house (based on the dimensions described above). Qantas accepts no responsibility should the seats not fit anywhere in the delivery address.
- Seats will only be delivered to the ground floor of the house/apartment building. Please ensure you have enough room for the seats to be placed.
- Pictures shown are for illustration purposes only; the actual product may vary due to prior use.
- There’s no replacement of the Skybeds or any of its parts should they break or stop working.
- If, within 12 months of delivery, the Skybeds are faulty, significantly different from what was advertised, not doing what it is supposed to do, in breach of consumer guarantees; or where otherwise required by law, the member should contact Qantas Loyalty as soon as possible to organise an inspection and subsequent refund.
- The TV screen won’t work, as it needs to be connected to the inflight entertainment system.
- Skybeds should only be moved by experienced personnel with access to appropriate manual handling risk reducing equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Skybed seat mechanism should only be operated once confirming that no other person is in the vicinity of the seat during operation to avoid risk of injury.
- Seat mechanism must not be operated in the event that an electronic device falls into the seat mechanism as the device could catch on fire.
- Seat electronics, mechanisms and components should not be accessed by unqualified and unskilled persons; please refer to the manual that will be provided.
- If the seats stop functioning correctly (for example, they don’t recline completely or at all), please don’t try to repair them. They’re very complex pieces of equipment that require professional work.
- Not suitable for children. Always supervise them as they may injure themselves when using the seats.
