washington

Washington state is the heart of the Pacific Northwest in the USA. Washington is a lively city with waterfront views and countless parks in the nation's capital. DC is where you can access the world's best museums – many that are free to visit, where you go to explore neighborhoods, events, shows and diverse communities. Be sure to explore the lush, green Olympic Peninsula, the wild white peaks of the Cascade Mountains and the relaxed, kayaker-friendly San Juan Islands and George Washingtons Estate. The best experiences are to be had in the outdoors, so plan a visit this US city.

When to visit
