When to visit

With mild winters and hot summers, Australia’s Harbour City is enticing at any time of the year. If you’re looking for warm weather without the middle-of-summer heat and holiday crowds, the best time to visit is between September and November or February and April. Temperatures range around 16 to 20°C in autumn. January offers a calendar filled of outdoor events and beaches to enjoy, temperatures range around 27°C in summer.

Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD). Is an international airport in Sydney, Australia located 8 km south of the Sydney central business district, in the suburb of Mascot. 

Arriving in Sydney

The warm and friendly Sydney Airport staff will greet you when you land and from there, getting into the CBD and surrounding suburbs is easy.

Getting into Sydney from Sydney Airport

For a quick and affordable option, the Airport Link train will take you to Central Station in about 13 minutes. Alternatively, there are taxis, ride share, transfers, town cars and car hire providers available.

Getting around Sydney

With a reliable and easy-to-use public transport network operating day and night, Sydney is very easy to explore. Purchase a pay-as-you-go Opal from a convenience store or train station and take advantage of the trains, buses, light rail and ferries across the city. Uber and taxis are a handy way to take you to where you want to go or you can rent a car.
