Suva (Fiji) travel information
When to visit
The best time to visit Fiji for sunny blue skies is from May through to September. The warm tropical climate makes for a perfect beach side holiday and is best to enjoy swimming, sunbaking and tours. Late October to November is also a popular time to visit as the weather is dry, warm and less crowded. November through to April make up the wet season which is also the time of year most at risk of a cyclone. Rain often pours during the late afternoon for a short time and can be quite humid. Being a tropical destination, the weather is generally pleasant with hot temperatures averaging between 26°C to 31° year-round.
