Calgary has more hours of sunshine than any other major city in Canada, making it a great destination any time of year. The best time to visit is during summer (June to August) with many special events taking place, sightseeing is great, plenty of recreation activities are on offer like fishing, rafting and outdoor dining. Getting into Calgary from Calgary Airport
Calgary International Airport is connected to the City of Calgary and the region by a variety of ground transportation options. The Airport downtown shuttle services operate from both terminals to your hotel or to designated points within the city. Bus tour operators connect you to town as well as Banff. Car rentals are available at the airport located on the departures level across the road from the domestic terminal. Calgary Transit provides bus service from the airport to various parts of the city. Limousines can be booked in advance, along with taxi and ride share services Uber and TappCar.

Getting around Calgary is easy with many transportation options to suit your time exploring the city. Public transit, taxis, shuttles, rental cars and limousines are great ways to get around during your stay.
