Ahmedabad has a hot, dry climate with three main seasons: summer, monsoon and winter. During summer (March to June) the temperature is very hot ranging from 24°C to 43°C. The best time to visit is from November to February, with an average temperature of 30°C. It's a good time to explore the Kankaria Lake, take a heritage walk through the old city and visit the beautiful Jama Masjid mosque. Monsoon season runs from mid-June to September and can be hot and humid.
