Visiting from Sydney to Mendoza

Mendoza travel information

Mendoza is a laid-back city in the heart of Argentina's wine country, famed for Malbecs and other red wines. The city has wide, leafy avenues, bustling plazas with glorious fountains and lively bars and restaurants along the Av Arístides. It's the best place to base yourself to tour the bodegas (wineries), go water rafting along the Mendoza River and stroll through the Plaza Independencia. Be sure to wander the historic city centre, relax in Plaza España, known for its beautiful coloured Spanish tiles, and dine on some of Argentina's finest steak. There’s plenty to do in Mendoza or take a trip to the nearby Andres.
