The best time to visit London is March through May when the temperatures are mild and the city's parks are green and blooming. Located in the west of the city, in the London borough of Hillingdon, Heathrow hosts two runways and four operational terminal buildings. Heathrow airport is located (23 km) west of Central London.

Getting into London from London Heathrow Airport

Getting into Central London from London Heathrow Airport is easy, with many transport options available. Trains operate every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes to get to the city. Drive to Central London with all the world’s most popular car hire companies at arrivals. You may wish to reserve a chauffeur to enjoy door-to-door comfort of travelling in style. Enjoy a relaxing ride in a London black cab or book a minicab from Heathrow. Getting around London

Getting around London is easy, with multiple modes of transport options to suit your needs. Using an Oyster travel smartcard is the easiest way to travel around the city’s public transport network. You can use it to travel on the tube, buses, DLR, river bus service, London Overground and most national rail services in London. Travelling by river is a great way to get around London on the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers and River Thames boat service. You'll beat the traffic and enjoy fantastic views of London along the way. Walking is a free and environmentally friendly way to get around London. From iconic London black cabs to local minicabs, it’s easy to travel around London by taxi.
