Visiting from Sydney to Kathmandu
When to visit
Kathmandu has a mild climate for most of the year, with a summer monsoon season from June to September. It’s low season as the trekking routes are not passable and rain clouds hide the views. The best time to visit Kathmanduin in spring (March to May), as the weather is dry and warms up to around 20°C and many parts of the country are covered on Nepal’s bright pink national flower. Autumn (August to September) is the most popular time to visit with warm days and clear skies creating ideal conditions for adventures in the mountains. Temperatures range around 23°C to 26°C.
