Autumn and spring are the best times to visit Armidale. In autumn you have the lovely colours of the trees as they change colour, and in spring the beautiful colours of the spring blooms. The winters are very cold from May through to August, though mostly clear with an average low of -2°C and high of 13°C and a chance of snow.
