Porto Alegre has a temperate climate with four distinct seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter), quite different from northern Brazilian regions. The summer months from November to the end of April are the hottest and driest of the year, with an average temperature around 30 °C. There are several bus services available from Porto Alegre Airport. EMTU offers routes to different city locations destinations as Gramado and Canela from the second floor of terminal 1. By train, the Trensurb train will take you into the city centre in 12 minutes. Taxi is a convenient option with ranks located on the first floor of both terminals and the journey time to the city centre is 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you may like to request a car through the Uber app to get to your destination. If you prefer a private way to travel, it’s possible to pre-book a transfer to your hotel or to the city.
