Paraburdoo is a mining town once owned by Rio Tinto, that lies on the desert fringe of the Hamersley Ranges, 24kms north of the Tropic of Capricorn. It’s known for its beautiful scenery, wildlife diversity and short history - including UFO sightings and royal visits.
