Located 20 km (12.5 miles) from the city centre, Melbourne Domestic Airport (MEL), also known as Tullamarine Airport, is the main airport serving the state of Victoria. Qantas operates from two terminals in Melbourne T1 - domestic and T2 - international.
The friendly staff at Melbourne Airport will be waiting to greet you when you land. Once you collect your bags, there are several transport options available to get you to the CBD and surrounding suburbs.
The easiest way to reach the centre of Melbourne is via taxi or rideshare, which can be accessed from beyond the terminal building. For a more affordable alternative, the SkyBus connects the airport to Southern Cross station and takes approximately 30 minutes.
Melbourne’s city centre is easy to navigate on foot, but for faster trips around the CBD, free trams are available. For longer journeys, purchase a reloadable myki card and enjoy unlimited access to Melbourne’s network of trains, buses and trams for the duration of your stay. Taxis and ride-share services operate in the city or you could jump on the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus.
Once you’ve purchased your tickets from Paraburdoo, there are a few things you should know to ensure you’re as prepared as possible for your upcoming trip.
Paraburdoo Airport (PBO). It is an airport serving Paraburdoo, a town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The airport is located 9.5 km northeast of Paraburdoo. It also serves the town of Tom Price, with bus services completing the extra 71 km to Tom Price.
Passengers on Qantas flights from Paraburdoo are allocated checked baggage. If you need more luggage, you can purchase an additional baggage allowance online prior to departure.
Ensure you check-in online or via the Qantas App before you arrive at the airport from 24 hours before departure.
